Fantasy Football S9 WEEK 21 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON NINE

WEEK 21

This week in the Premier League. Everton gave their new manager a perfect start as they beat leaders Arsenal 1-0 at home. Spurs continued their good recent history against Man City with a 1-0 home win. Wolves destroyed Liverpool 3-0 at home. Brentford brushed Southampton aside 3-0 at home. Leicester beat Aston Villa away 4-2. Notts Forest beat Leeds 1-0 at home. Brighton beat Bournemouth at home by the same score. Man Utd survived a late red card to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at home. West Ham got a credible 1-1 draw at Newcastle. Then in midweek, Man Utd came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to Leeds.

In the ITYIFL. It could be a pivotal week in the title race, with some experienced heads making shrewd moves. Maybe, inexperience showed as league leader Natalie Stigwood stumbled and had a modest week, with a weekly score of 51 points. Her contributions were from captain Haaland (4) Rashford (20) Kane (8) and Shaw (5).

Taking full advantage is my recent former work colleague Abdul Rahman. He closed the distance in second to just 11 points. Thanks to a very decent 80 point week, mainly due to the likes of captain Rashford (40) Fernandes (12) Kane (8) and Shaw (6). Ominously, just two points behind in third is double champ Danny Milton. Thanks to a superb 109 point weekly score, making him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business, was mainly due to a smart triple captain choice of Rashford (60) also, Fernandes (12) Kepa (10) and Kane (8).

After a few modest weeks, former champ Jeff Franklin showed his experience as he moved up to fourth, thanks to his very decent weekly score of 97 points. This was mainly due to his smart triple captain choice of Rashford (60) also, Fernandes, Cucurella (6) and Shaw (6). Remaining in fifth is Washington DC’s Greg Cabana, thanks to a decent 76 point week, with contributions from captain Rashford (40) Mitoma (11) Sa (6) and Shaw (6). Moving up to sixth is Yours Truly. I can be happy with my decent wildcard weekly score of 82 points. This was thanks mainly to captain Rashford (40) Fernandes (12) Kane (8) and Sanchez (8).

Philippines native Jean Ninal moves down to seventh, halting her recent good form, as she had a disappointing 53 point week. Her only real contributions came from captain Haaland (4) Rashford (20) Kane (8) Raya (7) and Shaw (6). In eighth, also moving down is Sanjay Beecher, despite his decent 76 point weekly score. This was due to captain Rashford (40) Kane (8) Estupinan (6) and Shaw (6).

My old football clubmate Oktay Ahmet remains in ninth due to his weekly score of 70 points. This was following contributions from captain Rashford (40) Kane (8) Raya (7) and Shaw (6). My middle son, Jahsiah Tobierrie moves up into the top ten, thanks to his very decent 92 point weekly score. Mainly due to his smart choice of triple captain Rashford (60) also, Kane (8) and Shaw (6).

This week’s Highest Mover is my old work colleague and Arsenal mate Wayne James. He moved up six places from 19th to 13th, due to a very decent 88 point week. Thanks to contributions from captain Rashford (40) Fernandes (12) Mitoma (11) Kane (8) and Shaw (6).

Full steam ahead to week 22, make it count y’all
